Hi. I’m Missy Titus
I use analytical and design thinking to effectively solve problems and design products, fix processes, and strengthen teams.
I’ve spent most of my worklife in tech designing products end-to-end. While I pride myself on quick work and effective collaboration, my greatest strength is diagnosing the crux of a problem and finding simple, efficient solutions.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked and consulted for pre-seed, seed-stage, and series A startups as well as small, scrappy innovation teams operating inside large corporations. I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the ineffectual. I get my rocks off working with early stage startups because the stakes are high and the possibilities are endless, which makes finding the right answers and building the right products is so thrilling.
That’s why I’m excited to help these companies by using UX, Design Thinking, and Behavioral Economic principles to answer bigger questions, like:
- How can we create more efficient, collaborative, and cross-functional processes across product, design, engineering, and (dare I say) marketing?
- How can we fully support early stage startups in important but understaffed areas like branding, product design, and marketing?
I have some ideas about the above, but what I’m most excited about is this:
How can we nurture solo designers and small design teams to accelerate the designers’ growth and ultimately create the best products?
